Spencer Announces Community Involvement Action Based Initiative
City policies and priorities need developed from the bottom up, not dictated from top down. That can only happen when citizens are involved in the process. Spencer believes citizen input is a key to solving our problems and strengthening our community. Part of this effort means developing Advisory groups that report directly to the Mayor and Task Forces that can make policy recommendations. Spencer Submits Objection to Evergy Rate Increase
Spencer submitted an objection to the Kansas Corporation Commission regarding Evergy's request for a rate increase. Spencer continues to fight to keep costs down for all Topekans, as he voted against water rate increases, continues to push for property tax reduction and understands now is not the time for an increase in electric rates. Spencer Co-Sponsors Jack Alexander Honor
